klr 650
so i can be the first to post here. great. have a klr 650. have had 3 of them. great bikes. this one is a 07. wanted the last year of the square headlite version. the newer ones look like more of a street bike than a dual purpose. but havent ridden one. i take mine anywhere and everywhere. great in the sand and what hills we have here is fl. took off the knobbies and went with the avon gripster tires. better on the street than the knobbies and ok off road also. i do ride on the street to get to the trails. plenty of power, but a little top heavy for any real jumps. jack

I like the klr. A little top heavy. Like my last girlfriend lol

It is equipped with a roll bar

rols his truck by accident and thinks hes the pro roller
PFT |
loan me your ranger, i bet i can do it again in no time.
i dunno, i thought for sure the one incident i had id roll but somehow it managed to keep its footing.
dont think i ever mentioned that story on FRF |
air down to 12 psi. mix in a bit of drifting, and an uncontrollable traction control. that equals a roll.
srsly that TC is friggin dangerous
my truck doesn't have traction control mawfuckas
I hit a 1' deep puddle at 60 MPH, shifted sideways into a rutted ditch, and managed to counter steer it out and into the other ide ditch without even lifted a tire. was insane. that was when i was stock height and on 31's though, which probably... no., which DID help the situation lol |
that will pucker your butt hole
nah. things like that dont freak me out for some reason. i always seem to keep my cool and just do my best to correct it.
now shit like that on my sled.... thats butt puckering lol. |
same with dodging traffic on the bike.....
yeah id shit my pants lane splitting and dodging traffic.
you get used to it.
i suppose that is true sir.
the more you ride on the street, the more aware you are of being able to predict drivers. when i first started riding i never split lanes, and always thought the guys who did it fast were crazy, but over time i became that person. not because of me being crazy (which i dont deny) but because i can tell when a person is driving like an idiot and will try to swerve into an open spot. if you spend more time on a bike you will understand. its hard to explain, but you almost gain an extra sense.
