i am getting new quads for the family for christmas. i am thinking of heading to pismo beach (now called oceano dunes) to break them in. there are some members from the frf that are interested. i thought it would be nice to have a get together in feb. any members here interested?

ford raptors
yamaha raptors
and anything else that can haul ass through the sand.

Yeah, I'm decent at that, or at least was. I haven't ridden in about 4 years or so. It's going to be interesting to see how much talent has leaked out over the years.

I'm definitely bringing my dirt bike when I come to pismo though. It's been a long ass time since I've hit the dunes and I remember how much fun it was. Last time i went out I wrecked on a 5th gear dune "table top". It didn't hurt, but damned if that sand doesn't get everywhere.

This is true. I'll be all sorts of out of practice after 3 months in the desert though. That's the hell of it. I can't get good at anything with that schedule.

im sure it will kick in quick, you will remember everything. might take a day or 2 but it will all come back

Sad part is, they did it to me last time, which is why I'm not making the TRR or the snowboarding trip to Whistler that I've been trying to go on for 5 years. So don't put it past them.
