89S's Bass Tracker

Yah, I'm a pic whore, lol... :D

This is my current boat. It is currently in a stage of rebuilding the decks. They rotted out and the carpet took a shit and the foam in the hull was saturated with water.

I do it every night after work year round. Don't fish like I used to. I just get out there and clear my mind. Kind of an addiction. Those electric anchors save me a fortune in fuel too, lol!!

SBA800 10-10-2012 06:06 PM

i hear ya. i go sledding for the same reason.
so relaxing and calming for me.
just forget about everything else

89suburban 10-10-2012 06:14 PM

I'm a in a very populated area, NW suburb of Philly. I can't stand all these crazy people. But 95 precent of the time I usually get the river all to myself. They have no idea the paradise hidden here that they all rat race around. Love it.

SBA800 10-10-2012 06:58 PM

i live in a very unpopulated area haha. town only has around 100 people. so its nice.
lake is only about 30 minutes away, for a decent one, or about 45 minutes for a really nice one.

nosbusa 10-11-2012 01:22 AM

ok, i cant help myself on this one......... get rid of that old ass alpine radio haha.... other than that boat looks like fun for fishing

I don't think I could hack it up there, I hate the cold and snow. Beautiful country up there though. :)

Dude, that radio been in like 6 cars and 4 boats over 10 years. It is out now though, sitting in the garage. Drains too much on the battery. I got the iPod Touch now for tunes and watch movies on. ;)

nosbusa 10-12-2012 02:48 AM

6.2 knows...... as of saturday night i will be the owner of a car audio shop. i have been an installer for years. i saw that radio and had to think when the last time i saw one of those. its definitely been a while

bobkyle2 10-15-2012 09:32 AM

Congratulations, I hope it works out. I'll trade you the alpine with the remote for a 21 pin to 12 pin GM car truck adapter. :D

Yah, it's in the garage right now. I never use it. Works good though. I might slap it back an after I finish the front deck.

nosbusa 10-15-2012 08:00 PM

89suburban 10-17-2012 11:42 AM

Yah, I am just going to solder/shrink wrap the connections.

nosbusa 12-11-2012 03:21 AM

did you ever get around to it?

aarons419 12-13-2012 08:21 PM

Nice looking boat. Ever think about shrink wrapping or somehow sealing those wire splices you have on the front lights?

It's on the to-do list, but the list is long. I have been making trips to the junkyard and grabbing all the GM weather pack connectors I can find, they will be perfect to use on the boat wiring connections. :)

Some updated pics. Raised the windshield, added DOT tape to the trailer. All LED's installed on the trailer with mid-ships amber LED turns, complete new sealed harness. All lights ground through the harness, not the frame. All connections soldered and heat shrunk. Also rebuilt the 3 carbs, fuel pump, cleaned the thermostat and installed new seals. Installed new water pump and seals.
