Default My 2006 Polaris Outlaw 500
Well, picked it up today. so stoked for summer now.
since its a used quad, i'm going to do some things right off the bat before riding it to much. Oil change, air filter cleaning, fresh gas with seafoam etc.

short term upgrades will be nerf bars, and new tires.

first pic.

will have tons of fun.

Mostly just going to ride the gravel roads and the ditches. Isnt really trails around here, theres a few gravel pits, but they may be operating this year, so those may be off limits.

theres a few small areas of sand, nothing big. We do have some dunes here, but they are off limits to vehicles.... which is pretty fuckin gay.

might be able to find some larger areas of sand an hour or two away though. Never really looked into the riding areas yet.

new bolts ordered, local store didnt have the right size in stock.
should be here wed. or thurs.

found my dad extractor bit set. has one that should be small enough, so I shall attempt to get it out provided I can find a drill bit small enough to drill a pilot hole

pics from today. was riding around checking out all the flooded roads and fields.
couldnt get very far from my brothers since all the roads along the river were flooded and/or washed away.

looks like a lake, but it aint haha

its like the damn rapids haha

this is just to the south of my brothers. its right up to the dike. another 1' and it would be flooding his yard.

and of course, more of the quad.

ok, now heres the same spot, from yesterday, then today.

Yesterday:

Today:

we are so damn lucky we had about a month of slow melt. because if everything we had all melted at once like the past 2 days, we would be in huge trouble lol.

no kidding. its slowly going down. most of the roads are passable now. So I will be riding this weekend for sure. few roads are pretty much completely washed out though, and theres one bridge thats close to floating away. so it should be interesting.

will ride all over and scout it out this weekend
