Default New Wildcat X
so with side by sides it seems that each manufactuerer just keeps upping the ante every year. gone are the days where we see one model last more than a year or two before theres a bigger and badder version available.

this is the Wildcat 1000X.

pretty much takes care of the issues in the 2013 wildcat, more power, better suspension, etc. basically, its the version everyone was hoping for. we hope.....

not cheap though, they start at $18,000. no thanks, not something for me.

Yeah way to expensive as a toy only.

Unless you use it every weekend all weekend.

yamaha will never break into the sport side by side industry, unless they have something super insane, priced very very competitively.

and even then, will take a while before it takes off as it will need real world testing and feedback

agreed but u gotta start some where. just think about when the RZR 1st came out. 1st sport sxs and more expensive than other ohv's. now companies are in a race to build the biggest and fastest sport sxs and the price tag keeps goin up and people keep buying...

we will see. i will say one thing, polaris does seem to step it up a little every year and have more models than anyone else. they got 170, 570, 800, 800 S, RZR4, XP, XP4, XP jagged edge and LE models for almost every one. im actually looking for a used 170 for my sons or i might just get a pitster double X LE or wait for the 200 that is coming out soon...

yep, they got a version for everyone. the 570 and 800 are great for trail riders, as they are the same width as most trails limit the width at. so they are trailable. the s and 900 models are to wide. as are the widlcat, and i think the canams are to wide as well

My S just fits some tight trails. Not crazy about how tippy the standard 800 feels...

haha a guy i know rolled his 570 due to its skinny ness.
broke his arm.

he is now making it wider. i wouldnt like the skinny ones either. but some trails are only legal to ride skinny ones on.

yeah i was looking into the 800 LE but i just knew i wouldnt leave it skinny. it just dont handle like i feel a "sport" machine should. so i went with the S-LE plus that let me get the fox podium shocks

o yeah 6PM Pacific time yamaha makes the big announcement, supposedly their new SXS...
