Default Just bought a 2000 YZ426F
Picked up a "new" bike tonight; Like the title says it's a 426. I used to have an 01 that I bought new but was forced to sell while I was in the military, so it's nice to have my hands on one again. I got a smokin deal on it for $1000. It's got a HotCams YZ450 cam in it so it's just a kick and go kind of affair with it now, no more decompression lever or anything. Also it's got upgraded suspension from RG3. It feels a bit soft, but I only rode it for a few minutes too.

Anyhow here's some pictures:

Will do, we're going to take the bikes out in a couple of hours to go play for a bit. Hopefully my daughter gets the hang of it and is able to putt around a bit. Tried to convince the wife to come to so she can babysit while i stretch my bike's legs, but she was having none of it.

So far the "fix it" list is pretty short

- New radiator shrouds/number plates, front/rear fenders
- Replace the chain and sprockets
- Put some new grips on
- Set the shock sag and other suspension settings up for me.

Yep, they all add up to less than one Raptor mod too, that's the funny part. My wife is sold on me modding the dirt bike just on that one point.

I just switch the hobby that I'm spending money on every time she stops me from spending it on one. So now that the Raptor mod tap has been turned off, I'll just turn on the dirt bike one. Then probably move to snowboarding for a bit before coming back to one of the previous ones.

Picked up a new set of clutch plates and springs for it yesterday, should be in friday. My clutch is teh suck right now.

I had it out for a few hours yesterday and it ran like a top other than the damned clutch.

I also need a new rear tire as mine is losing air between rides. lol.
