Why you gots to be hating on the KTMs?

I had a dealer in town here talk down about them and say it was impossible to get support for them or even find them. Which was hilarious because about 5 miles away is a HUGE store that had every model of dirt bike KTM produces in stock and a huge selection of spare parts.

It depends on what you're talking about though. Moto 4 stroke. Yeah Yamaha is better. Moto 2 stroke? KTM has it by FAR.

Enduro/Off-road racing/Trail riding.....KTM smokes Yamaha there too.

This is coming from a die hard Yamaha guy too. Growing up we always hated on KTMs as the "city slicker" bikes, but these days, I have to give credit where credit is due.

I wish Yamaha would update their 2 stroke 250 a bit. It's sitting right where it was after the 2006 redesign, just with new graphics. I hate the way 2-strokes have been all but killed off. It's complete crap. Thanks Kommiefornia for pushing that initiative.

Yeah no lie. Off-road races have been doing dB measurements for a long time now. Those are a pain in the ass. What really grinds my gears in the harleys on the street that have no such requirement.

yeah i really need to get the quiet cores for my barkers dual exhaust on the RZR. it sounds like a damn loud ass harley. when i bought my rzr it was Feburary. i installed hte exhaust like the next day. so i took it for a ride up and down the street quick because the superbowl was about to start but i wanted to hear it under load. my neighbor came out and was like i was wondering who was driving a harley in this cold weather and i see u driving this dune buggy looking thing lol. i gotta quiet it down for some of the real trails...

Yeah I like loud pipes on my bikes, but it's just not really allowed any more which is lame. My last dirt bike had an FMF Ti4 (I think that's what it was) on it and it was louder than all hell and sounded really mean.
